Chief Business Officer Job Description
We are seeking an experienced leader to join us as Chief Business Officer (CBO). This person will play an important role complementing the CEO as the #2 in the organization taking responsibility for sales, managing the existing 4 sales and marketing executives and rapidly building up this team to drive our high velocity business. The CBO will also team up with the CEO to focus on all future VC funding rounds and leverage relationships with existing VCs. Experience in driving sales and raising VC funding are a strong plus. In this role, you will be primarily responsible for leading growth, including building the growth team, evolving sales and marketing playbooks, and building partnerships. Additionally, you’ll work closely with the CEO, leading growth on high impact functions such as VC fundraising, strategic planning, and building a velocity culture.
