Operations Manager

We are looking for a Opeations Manager to join our leadership team who will have overall responsibility for the Operations function across the organization. The Opeations Manager has strategic oversight for driving the development and implementation of operational solutions. These solutions support the growth of the business, and the Opeations Manager will have overall accountability, and responsibility for managing, monitoring, and maturing the complex operational processes and procedures including Kwant’s hardware, software, data analytics, and industry expansion process.

Our solution is a smart badge/wearable for construction, mining, and critical infrastructure where the tradesperson is monitored and tracked from the moment they enter the trade site. Using LPWAN and BLE, our smart badge and/or wristband understands within 10 feet of accuracy where the worker is located in order to measure whether the crew is working on the scheduled activity and how many hours were spent on each task. Our Smart Badges contain accelerometers and SOS buttons to call for help which sends a real time message to the safety team and reduces response time.

Role Description

1. Oversee day-to-day company operations including recruiting, HR, FP&A, Business Ops
2. Define and implement operations strategy, structure, and processes for short term deliverables and long term mission
3. Manage the quarterly and annual budgeting process and P&L responsibilities using Quickbooks
4. Maintain a working knowledge of all phases of operations.
5. Interview, hire, train, and mentor the management team including providing performance evaluations of team members
